The International Institute of Islamic-Christian Dialogue(IICD) has been dedicated to interfaith dialogues for over 20 years.
The institute aims to strengthen mutual understanding, promote peaceful coexistence, combat religious extremism, encourage research and education, clarify misunderstandings, enhance scientific dialogues, reinforce interfaith cooperation, discuss global issues, and build cultural bridges between Muslim and Christian communities.
The institute’s key activities include organizing meetings and conferences, hosting workshops and educational courses, facilitating interfaith student exchanges, offering short-term study opportunities, conducting research, publishing and developing joint texts, and engaging in artistic and cultural activities. The Institute for Islamic-Christian Dialogue is based in Qom and is affiliated with the Qom Seminary. It collaborates extensively with churches in European, Asian, African, and American countries
